These Terms of Use govern your use of the public DiploLife website. By using the website you agree to them. Membership of the DiploLife community is governed separately by the Member Terms.

2. Use of the website
You may view the website for personal, informational purposes. You must not disrupt the website, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes.
3. Content and intellectual property
Text, photography, films, design and marks on the website belong to DiploLife or its licensors. No licence is granted beyond viewing in your browser.
4. Information only
Website content describes DiploLife and its purpose. It is general information, not legal, diplomatic, travel or professional advice, and does not create a membership or contract for services.
5. Optional video storage
Saving films on your device is optional and only happens with your choice. You can change it at any time via “Video storage settings” in the footer.
6. External links
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. DiploLife is not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Liability
DiploLife is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law (including product liability law) so provides. For slight negligence, DiploLife is liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version date above shows the current version.
9. Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of the law of your habitual residence remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
