Accessibility statement

Scope

This statement covers the public DiploLife website at diplomatlife.com in English, German and Hebrew. DiploLife is a digital service only; this statement does not describe any physical premises. The separate DiploLife member apps are not covered by this statement.

Our technical target

We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and the applicable requirements of Israeli Standard SI 5568. This is our technical target. It is not a legal certification, and the website has not been audited by an independent accessibility expert.

What we have implemented

  • Page language and reading direction are declared for English, German and Hebrew, so screen readers pronounce text correctly.
  • A “Skip to main content” link, page landmarks and a logical heading order.
  • Full keyboard operation with a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • A button to pause the slowly rotating globe; motion stops automatically when your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing on the site flashes.
  • Layouts that reflow without sideways scrolling at 320px and 640px widths (equivalent to 400% and 200% zoom).
  • Text colour contrast that passed automated AA checks (axe-core) on the public pages.
  • No third-party accessibility overlay or widget.

Known limitations

  • Automated checks cannot find every problem; manual screen-reader testing with VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA and JAWS on real devices has not yet been completed.
  • The members’ area and native apps have not been fully reviewed against this target.
  • Where the law requires a named accessibility coordinator, that appointment is still being assessed.
  • German and Hebrew versions of this statement are provided for convenience; the English version is the reference text.
